As a long time resident of the area, I think the North Shore and the surrounding North and Northwest suburbs are very special places to live. They offer a spectacular mix of housing, architecture, recreational opportunities, cultural amenities, some of the finest schools in the country, fabulous restaurants, world class shopping and an excellent combination of public transportation and roads. Each town has its own personality.
